Day 1: Write in Detail all the things that you love about yourself, your traits and characteristics. This should come across as a love letter to yourself. Read this out loud to yourself in front of a mirror every day for 21
days.
Dear Mulemwa,
You may not believe it, but I love you. Here are only some of the reasons why:
I love the way you love others
You have been through so much, yet you love openly and completely. I look at you and see a picture of strength and determination. In the past you thought it a weakness, but your ability to love is your greatest strength.
I love your body
Your body is a temple. You are strong and beautiful. Your strength and flexibility is inspiring. You are care for it in so many ways. I am in awe of it’s beauty.
I love your happy dance
I love how when you get excited, you dance. In that moment I see the joy that fills your soul. I love how you close your eyes and dance to a rhythm only you can hear.
I love your laugh
You start with a big smile before you erupt with laughter. Your laugh is contagious; giving other people permission to get lost in giggles and joy.
I love your courage
I watch how, through your tears, you share your story openly. You are not afraid to share your pain, all in hopes that others feel less alone. You are not afraid to be vulnerable and that to me is true courage.
For the next 21 days, and the days after that, know that you are loved.
I love you!
